What do we offer?
At CIDETEC we have great experience in the development of polymeric nanoparticles, emulsions, lipid-based systems, hydrogels, and nanogels to design customized delivery systems with application in various sectors.
We work from design, synthesis, process development and scaling-up, also incorporating complete characterization techniques and biological evaluation.

Skin delivery systems:
We have patented technologies for the encapsulation of active ingredients for cosmetics. The developed systems respond to skin stimuli and provide additional functionality. In this sense, we collaborate with our spin-off EMISSARY Cosmetics: we can develop and validate a new active based on available technologies, and EMISSARY can manufacture and supply it on an industrial scale.

Nanoparticles for drug delivery:
Design of new tailored encapsulation systems, so that we can protect active ingredients depending on the specific application, controlling the release profile.

Biological evaluation:
We can perform tests on cell culture and skin models.

R&D Laboratories
We work on the functionalization and synthesis of natural origin polymers, prototype development, and proof of concept.
Pilot Plant
We have pilot plants for the production of emulsions with a reactor and a high-pressure homogenizer. Additionally, equipment for continuous production of lipid and polymeric nanoparticles. Freeze-drying equipment.
Cell culture laboratory
For biological evaluation, including cell studies and skin models.
