CIDETEC Surface Engineering has fully equipped laboratories for the synthesis, processing, and characterization of paints, including:
- R&D laboratories for the design, formulation, and addition of advanced paints and varnishes, including several reactors equipped with temperature control and different types of agitation.
- Surface preparation and pretreatment protocols (chemical, physical, mechanical, etc.) adapted to substrate requirements.
- Fully robotized paint booth capable of precisely applying any type of paint.
- R&D laboratories for testing and characterization of coatings and materials: adhesion, morphology, composition, structure, aesthetics, wettability, hardness, roughness, scratch resistance, corrosion control, etc.
