R&D Laboratories

CIDETEC’s R&D Laboratories are dedicated to the experimental development and proof of concept of new chemical formulations, coatings, materials, functions and manufacturing concepts, validating their feasibility in a laboratory environment.

Characterisation laboratories

CIDETEC’s Characterisation laboratories are designed to allow the complete characterisation (chemical, morphological, structural, etc.) and evaluation (mechanical properties, corrosion and wear resistance, etc.) of coatings, materials and components, supporting research and problem-solving.

Pilot plants

Unique, versatile, semi-industrial infrastructure with tanks of up to 400 litres for upscaling wet chemical and electrochemical treatments. Robotic and automated spray painting and brush plating booths. Modelling, simulation and digitalisation in order to understand, optimise, control and monitor the processes.
